Responsible for accurate accounting of customer tax and insurance escrow balances by completing their assigned tasks and working each to full resolution. Candidate must be capable of becoming familiar with Loan and Escrow Systems’ functionality and properly generate and review all correcting transactions. This position requires an understanding of Tax/Insurance Escrow.

·         Review of escrow analysis statements ensuring the appropriate Tax and Insurance along with the appropriate cushion are being billed and collected.

·         Interface and work with insurance vendors and asset managers to ensure all escrow functions are handled according to established policies and procedures.

·         Determine the annual tax amount by contacting the appropriate counties.

·         Perform escrow analysis.

·         Ability to research and obtain needed information nationwide using various resources.

·         Maintain proficient knowledge of state and individual taxing authority guidelines and timelines.

·         Update tax information directly to loan records via the servicing system.

·         Respond to questions from other departments on insurance and tax inquiries.

·         Review mass analysis reports for exception activity to ensure a successful mass analysis cycle each month.

·         Complete off cycle analysis per requests via task tracking.

·         Explain escrow analysis to other Kondaur Capital Corporation departments.

·         Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor.

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

·         2+ years mortgage industry and/or financial industry experience.

·         1+ years experience with escrow, flood, tax and hazard.

·         Excellent PC skills, including, excel, word processing & spreadsheet applications.

·         Mortgage servicing experience (Default Servicing experience preferred).

·         Sound understanding of mortgage loan collateral and loan servicing documentation.

·         In depth knowledge of the Fidelity system, specifically Escrow Workstation.

·         General understanding of overall mortgage servicing activities.

·         Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment.

·         Strong mathematical aptitude.

·         Good written and oral communication skills.
