Project Coordinator
Strong skill set for expediting processes and projects required to actively coordinate the refurbishment process of homes throughout the United States. Successful candidates demonstrate the ability to communicate and transact day-to-day needs of our general contractors/Construction Managers to help them transact and conclude the refurbishment process. They will be able to order services, obtain bids, validate credentials such as costs, licensing, permits, insurance, surety bonds and releases. They will assist the Analysts in sourcing, communicating and sometimes negotiate directly with contractors concerning project specifications, materials, costs and scheduling. Organize documentation, verify details and facts, keep logs and ensure that KONTACs is always up-to-date and accurate as well as design and maintain filing systems. Candidates will possess a strong work ethic and computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Source, analyze and build/modify bid packages for residential refurbishment work.
- Maintain efficiency and job flow on contractual contracts.
- Support Analysts in the procurement of necessary documentation to award contractual agreements.
- Document all conversations, meetings, presentations and procedures.
- Network with A/P and Analysts to maintain flow of payment processing to vendors.
- Review and validate current contractual licensing, insurance and procurement of signed contractual documents.
- Work and mediate situations with sales team to keep work flow moving through department.
- Follow-up continuously on all phone calls, emails and faxes to ensure all tasks are being completed quickly.
Requirements:
- Possess good clerical skills and a working familiarity with Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Possess good communication and negotiating skills.
- Background in business operations and management.
- Ability to manage a workload that may include extensive hours and weekends.
